Welcome to the world of Bowen Fascial Release Technique (also called the Bowen Technique).
My name is Peter Crabb. In September 2015, I qualified as a certified practitioner after extensive training and assessment by the European College of Bowen Studies, now the College of Bowen Studies.
In December 2015, I achieved the level 3 VTCT Anatomy and Physiology certificate and am a full member of the Federation of Holistic Therapies.
I was fortunate to be able to attend a five day intensive dissection workshop in March 2016, which gave me a great understanding of the human form with all the layers of fascia throughout the body, seeing how it forms multiple layers to give integrity and how the direction of the fascia indicates the strain and tension. Understanding this allows me to appreciate that the location of the pain is not necessarily where the pain is being caused. It also made me appreciate even more how important the fascia is to the body and its function.
My name is Beth Crabb. I qualified in June 2017 as a certified practitioner after extensive training and assessment by the College of Bowen Studies.
Like Peter, I have attended and completed a five day intensive dissection workshop in March 2017. It was a fascinating chance to see the body in a way that textbooks just cannot represent. I now have a detailed understanding of how the body works and importantly how interconnected every part is. Seeing the fascia and how strong and vital it is to the body’s function has made me even more passionate about helping people with this amazing therapy.
We are located near Bicester in Oxfordshire and have clinics in Aylesbury and Bicester.
